The Committee is the primary sponsor of the National Memorial Day Parade, held recently along Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC. Over 250,000 spectators attended this year's parade, which was televised to our men and women in uniform serving around the world. Participating were proud veterans of World War II, as well as every generation since. Click here to learn more.

Bringing the legacy of the "Greatest Generation to the latest generation" is the motto of the World War II Veterans Committee. Through documentary work, speaker programs, and its quarterly publications, American Valor Quarterly and World War II Chronicles, the World War II Veterans Committee seeks to bring the history of World War II to the public.

Here on the World War II Veterans Committee's online home, you can read the first-hand accounts of America's "Greatest Generation" in World War II Chronicles and our Online Veterans Tribute, listen to their stories on our radio series Veterans Chronicles and Proudly We Hail, and learn about the Committee's many programs, such as the National Memorial Day Parade and Annual Veterans Conference.

No generation of Americans faced a tougher task than the one which fought and won World War II. Their legacy is one that deserves to be preserved. The World War II Veterans Committee is honored to have your support in this mission.
